Chill and Destroy - Freeski Tourstop Ehrwald - 12.03.2011

Last saturday CJ, Sascha and me went to Ehrwood, where the fourth stop of the 2010/11 CaD Freeski tourstop took place. When we arrived there wind was blowing heavily and the landing was quite icy. Luckily, an hour later the sun made the landing slushy and the wind stopped from time to time - so the brave riders could start and show their best.

Sascha and me used the nice day to shoot some photos and enjoy the laid-back, sunny contest atmosphere. Below, one can find a rough selection of my pictures. As far as I know, it ended up with Raphael Schweiger winning the men category... for more infos check the CaD Website.

To sum it up, it was a nice day with the dudes in the sun with steezy airs, even two doubles(try), some free monsters and delicious sausages. For me it was also the last day of skiing for four weeks - looking forward for some spring glacier action when I get back from the Phillipines. Cu!

I just want to share the following two amazing skimovies, which are freely available over the web now.

Legs of Steel - The Pilot
Innsbruck based crew Legs of Steel (mainly mr tobi reindl, thomas hlawitschka, bene mayr and paddy graham), got out of their shared flat and put together an impressive look-back on their experiences and events from the 2009/10 season.

Have you ever seen a music artist performing on stage with two gameboys as instrument? If you did, you know 8bit music.

I am sometimes listening to the music and thus i want to recommend another website: www.8bitpeoples.com

The website contains free 8bit-albums and tracks (my tip: mr. spastic - "funktivy") from various artists, as well as 8bit art (as the gun shown above). It is the perfect website to get an overview of what is going on in the mario world. have fun luigi.
