Thanks to Josh Knox, a talented and quite famous skier in the freeski world, for sharing this scenes. Watch the best spots and athletes of the last season for free.
Also visit Josh's flickr stream on http://www.flickr.com/photos/joshknox/ for some awesome sport shots.
I hope to see more stuff like that in the future :)
let's start easy into the day :)
Junior Boys - Like A Child
... i know i missed to post some songs the last days. but this one is great. i like the fast electro stuff combined with calm singing and bass
Look at this!
A week ago I've been at the empty farm of my family near waldsassen in the
north of Bavaria. The weather was nice, even though lots of clouds appear.
So I took the chance to test my new tripod and so I created this picture. It
was edited to a HDR using Camera Raw and Photomatix.
Kings Of Convenience - Mrs Cold (HD)
(there exist rumors, that KoC are going to release a new album this year... i really hope so)
I decided to share the best songs i discovered on a daily basis (or something close to daily), to publish my opinion on "good" music. Here is issue number #1
Metronomy - Heartbreaker
I was on my way home last night, listening to this song, and when i woke up 7 h later i still got the soft voice and the calming melody it in my head...
Some details:
I first came accross this band with a remix on one of the kistuné samplers. Turns out, Metronomy is an electronic music group formed by Joseph Mount in Totnes, Devon, England in 1999. Their music consists of instrumental electronic music and more recently, with the release of Nights Out, vocal electronic pop music.
Metronomy are accomplished remixers, having remixed many artists including: Dead Disco, Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Klaxons, Goldfrapp, The Young Knives, Zero 7, Ladytron, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Kate Nash, Love Is All, Late of the Pier, and many more.
I just came across a very cool tool to produce digital Polaroids out of your pictures with a simple drag & drop. The software is called PolaDroid and it is available for free @thisplace. Install it, drag & drop the pictures on the Polaroid and wait. Additionally you may set some preferences, like adding stripes and finger stamps on the Polaroids
Here is a screenshot how it looks like:
It comes with funny GUI gimmicks: To accelerate the generation of the Polaroids, you may shake them on your desktop - and you have to restart the software after 16 pictures, because “cartridge is empty”. Ok, this is a funny idea. But it’s pretty annoying when you are trying to create a bunch of Polaroids, sitting in front of your desktop and shaking the hell out of your mouse o0.
Anyways, the results account for all this waiting/shaking time J - I will upload some of them on my flickr stream within the next days.
Check it out!
